She started acting in college, doing small roles. Destiny Etiko started her career in Nollywood as a member of the National Museum GRAA Actors Guild in Enugu, Nigeria (AGN).

Destiny Etiko starred in several films after joining the Nigerian Screen Actors Guild as a professional actress. In just a few years, she has gone from a small person to a big person to a superstar.
